Spaces available for short events.
- Events cannot significantly impede the regular function of the library.
- Acoustics must be considered when planning an event (i.e. having a speaker that requires amplification could cause issues).
- Events must provide at least 72 hours’ notice when scheduling.
- The library will be responsible for requesting tables and chairs from Plant Ops (number and specifications must be provided in advance by the initiator of the event).
- Event initiator will be responsible for the creation of marketing and distribution across campus; however, the library will post provided marketing within its own space during the event. Please note—proper marketing procedures must be adhered to before marketing will be posted. For specifics, please visit the Communications page on CougarWeb.
- At the conclusion of an event, anything brought into the library for the purpose of the event should be removed by the event initiator.
- Event requests may be denied at the discretion of the library.
